I have always felt the most satisfaction from building something unique, be it simple jigsaw puzzles or a point of care biomedical device that uses auto-fluorescent biomarkers to diagnose degenerative diseases. For this reason, I wish to pursue a major in biomedical engineering because it draws upon my passion for building and problem solving.

I also believe that this dynamic field, due to its interdisciplinary and collaborative nature, will constitute the future of medical and health sciences, equipping scientists like myself with tools to improve drug delivery systems, develop inexpensive medical devices, and provide cheaper energy to all.
