Notre Dame is an adventure that will develop more than just your intellect. Blessed Basil Moreau, founder of the Congregation of Holy Cross, believed that to provide a true education “the mind will not be cultivated at the expense of the heart.” What excites you about attending Notre Dame? (150-200 words)

Notre Dame has been my dream college since a young age, ever since my father and grandfather inspired me with stories about the traditions, beautiful campus, and football. As I grow older, Notre Dame remains my dream college not only for those reasons, but also because of rigorous academics and the spiritual community. After my sophomore year, I attended the Summer Scholars program with Professor Graff, where I learned about the spiritual and communal values of the school. The emphasis on faith, from the Basilica to the chapels in the dorms, helped me better connect with God, something I still focus on today. Furthermore, I discovered that my passion for service perfectly matches the mission of Notre Dame, on both a local and global scale. I want to apply concepts learned in the classroom to the world and contribute to the community in a meaningful way. Moreover, Notre Dame has an outstanding business culture, dating back to Father Sorin’s clever business tactics, combining benevolence with business, a strategy I might learn in the Student International Business Council. I strongly believe that Notre Dame is the best place for me to grow as a thinker, businessman, and citizen of the world.
