This depends on what college you want to get into. A good score for a national average is a score greater than 1200.
> 1200 = a very good score nationally
1000 = an average score nationally
< 840 = a very low score nationally
However a good score nationally won’t necessarily get you into a selective college. A selective college would be admitting the top 1% or the equivalent of a score of 1480 or greater.
